Chris Woakes may be a pretty surprising name on this list. There may be an argument looking at his T20 record. He picks up at least one wicket per T20 game and with the bat, has a strike-rate of 136.10. Moreover, he is a pretty experienced cricketer.

However, Woakes has a dismal IPL record. In 2017, he had a decent time with the ball. He picked up 17 wickets from 13 games despite being slightly expensive as he played for the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). But in 2018, Woakes travelled the distance when he was with Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) who bought him for a sum of INR 7.4 crore. He had an economy of 10.24 and was dropped after five games.

Moreover, he hasn’t contributed a lot with the bat either. His base price is pretty high as well which may also be a big factor during the auction. Last year, he went in with a base price of INR 2 crore and remained unsold.
