IPL 2020: Aaron Finch caught using a cuss word after not connecting a short ball from Andre Russell
An abusive word came out of Aaron Finch’s mouth, and it was caught on the mic.
In recent times, the cricketing world has gone through some major changes. Along with changes in cricket, the experience of listening to the conversations between players, by fans has also improved a lot. Due to the introduction of the stump microphone, fans can easily have an experience of what batters and keepers blabber while being on the crease. The stump mic has also added an angle of entertainment as it helps people to catch some hilarious moments also.
Something similar occurred on the field in match 28 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) that took place between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Kolkata Knight Riders. Batting first in Sharjah, RCB posted a huge 194/2 on the board for opponents to chase. AB de Villiers displayed his ultimate class by playing an unbeaten knock of 73 off 33. Aaron Finch’s inning also remained essential as he added 47 runs from his end.
At the same time, an incident caught people’s attention. Andre Russell delivered a slower short ball and Finch couldn’t connect it as per his will during the sixth over. In the spur of the moment, an abusive word came out of Finch’s mouth, and it was caught on the mic. His abusive word wasn’t for Russell and rather he displayed his ultimate frustration while missing the ball.
The commentators couldn’t control their laughter after listening to the cuss word from Finch and enjoyed a great dose of laughter. The RCB opener said, “Awh, you bas*ard.”

What happened in the game?
Talking about RCB’s game against KKR, the Virat Kohli-led side wasn’t in a position to post a big total. The real deal began when Mr 360 AB de Villiers started smashing bowlers ruthlessly, and the team looked forward to breaching the 200-run mark. Some of his sixes were so amazing that they landed straight out of the stadium on the roads of Sharjah.
He was named the Man of the Match, undoubtedly. Apart from a great batting show, RCB equally dominated the opponents with their bowling. KKR was restricted on mere 112 as they won by 82 runs. Yuzvendra Chahal and Chris Morris remained phenomenal with the ball as they conceded just 12 and 17 runs respectively. RCB have climbed to the third position in the points table.
