The Chennai Super Kings (CSK) are going through one of their worst phases in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) season. After starting their tournament with a win over the defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI), the team has won only one game in the next five outings. Injuries to key players and form of the others has not helped their cause either.

Moreover, it seems now that all is not well in the camp when it comes to the South Africa pacer Lungi Ngidi. The pace bowler played the first couple of games for CSK before being dropped as he conceded as many as 30 runs in a single over. However, he picked up four wickets in the two matches only to be sidelined since then.

Lungi Ngidi doesn’t seem to be too happy with the management’s decision and his recent social media activity hints at the same. The cricketer came up with a cryptic tweet on Thursday evening which read, “There’s a lot of bad things that they wishing on me.” Soon the fans responded to him to stay strong and hoped that he plays going forward in the near future for CSK.

Lungi Ngidi agrees with the fan?

Among so many replies to Lungi Ngidi’s tweet, one of the fans stated he deserves a better IPL team. Interestingly, the cricketer liked the tweet hinting that things are not good in the CSK camp. “You deserve a better IPL team bro,” the fan’s comment read and Ngidi liked the comment.

Meanwhile, one of the reasons Lungi Ngidi is not getting a place in the playing XI could be the limit of four overseas players. CSK have backed Shane Watson and Faf du Plessis to come good with the bat while Dwayne Bravo has returned after regaining his fitness.

Emergence of Sam Curran as a brilliant all-rounder playing for the first time for the franchise has even kept Imran Tahir out it seems along with Ngidi. It remains to be seen when do the two players get a chance going ahead in the season.
