IPL 2020: Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) schedule for the season
Kings XI Punjab will kick-start their campaign for the 2020 edition against Delhi Capitals at Dubai International Cricket Stadium on September 20.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Sunday (September 6) released the much-awaited schedule of the 13th edition of the Indian Premier League, which is slated to begin from September 19 across three venues namely Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah, thereby putting rest to all the speculations.
The tournament was supposed to commence in March but the increase in the number of coronavirus cases in India compelled the cricket board to delay the league and now move it outside the country to the UAE.
The IPL franchise Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) will be looking forward to ending their long wait of past 12 seasons and bring the trophy home this year. Punjab had begun its journey by making it to the semi-finals of 2008 edition but after that, their last best performance came in 2014 where they were the runners-up.

Nonetheless, the team looks balanced this year with the leadership of KL Rahul and the presence of veteran Anil Kumble as their head coach. Also, they will try to make full use of legends like Chris Gayle, Glenn Maxwell, Chris Jordan and Mohammed Shami.
Kings XI Punjab will kick-start their campaign for the 2020 edition against Delhi Capitals at Dubai International Cricket Stadium on September 20. The team will play another fixture against Royal Challengers Bangalore on September 24 in Dubai before taking a bus to Sharjah to lock horns against Rajasthan Royals on September 27.
Kings will en route to Abu Dhabi to face Mumbai Indians on October 1 at Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi before travelling back to Dubai to be up against Chennai Super Kings on October 4 and Sunrisers Hyderabad on October 8. KL Rahul-led side will play against Kolkata Knight Riders on October 10 in Abu Dhabi followed by a match against RCB on October 15 in Sharjah.
Punjab will again be up against MI and DC on October 18 and October 20 respectively before facing SRH on October 24 in Dubai. Also, they will play against KKR on October 26 in Sharjah and RR on October 30 in Abu Dhabi. Match against MS Dhoni-led CSK on November 1 in Abu Dhabi would cap off the league stages of IPL 2020 for the Kings.
