4. David Warner- Sunrisers Hyderabad(SRH)
David Warner is a man who can take the game away from the opposition in a jiffy. The stocky left-hander is undoubtedly the most important member of the Sunrisers Hyderabad batting line up, and his blistering starts at the top of the order have made him a potent weapon in the armoury of the Sunrisers’ batting line up.
Warner has played 71 innings for the Hyderabad side and scored 3271 runs. But then, what makes him such a dangerous player is the fact that he has scored his runs at an average of 55.44 and at a strike rate of close to 150(146.87). Warner also has scored 2 centuries and 34 half-centuries for the Sunrisers Hyderabad side.
Warner is the only batsman in IPL history to have won the orange cap on 3 occasions. And every time he won it, he did it while playing for the Hyderabad franchise. Warner’s standout performance for the Hyderabad side came in the year 2017 when he walloped the Kolkata bowling attack on his way to a vicious 126 off just 59 balls. His knock consisted of 10 fours and 8 sixes and helped the ‘Orange Army’ thrash the Kolkata side by 48 runs.
