IPL 2020: Match 43- KXIP vs SRH- KXIP Predicted Playing XI

The 43rd match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) will witness action between Kings XI Punjab and Sunrisers Hyderabad. KXIP are showing some serious consistency over the last few matches, and their hopes of making it to the playoff are alive in the same manner. After defeating table-toppers Delhi in their last outing, they are at the fifth position in the points table. They will be up against David Warner and company in their next clash, who are also coming after a victory.

With things looking perfectly balanced for KXIP, they will hardly be making any changes to their side. If they dream of landing into the top four, they will have to grab victories on the trot. The side which has looked extremely competitive since the very first day of IPL 2020 is expected to carry forward the same spirit.

Predicted Playing XI of KXIP against SRH

Openers (KL Rahul and Mayank Agarwal)

Though both the openers didn’t do anything great in their last match, their heroics earlier is enough to speak about their worth. The amazing opening stand between KL Rahul and Mayank has pulled the team out of danger on several occasions. The fact that Rahul has the Orange Cap for too long speaks volumes about his form. In fact, Mayank is also at the 3rd spot on the same list. Both will be very much eager to give their team a desired start in the upcoming match.

Middle-Order (Chris Gayle, Nicholas Pooran, and Deepak Hooda)

It seems like Universe Boss Gayle has got in the luck team was lacking for all these days. KXIP have won all the games after the point he has stepped in the playing XI and has contributed decently with his bat. In the last match too, he played a cameo of 29 runs to lend strength to the team.

It would not be wrong to say, Nicholas Pooran is turning out to be the team’s hero in Punjab’s several outings. In the last match, he smashed a terrific half-century (53 off 28) to get the team over the line. With his ace fielding skills and wicket-keeping brilliance, he is sure to see the next outing with KXIP.

Deepak Hooda has been part of the KXIP team for two matches now and has contributed with the bat in small amounts. He is expected to lend some middle-order strength to the team in the time of requirement and is unlikely to be left out.

All-rounders (Glenn Maxwell and James Neesham)

Maxwell was too much under criticism for his form with the bat in IPL 2020. However, his performance in the previous game has turned things a bit respectable for him. He played a knock of 32 off 24 to push his team and also scalped one wicket in due course. His all-round capabilities are sure to fetch him in the team for the next game.

James Neesham walked in the last game of Punjab to hit winning shots. He score essential 10 runs for his team off eight balls in the end. He also named one dismissal to his credit in the last game and might be expected to take the field again.

Bowlers (Mohammed Shami, Ravi Bishnoi, Murugan Ashwin, and Arshdeep Singh)

There isn’t a match of KXIP where Shami fails to display his class from the front. From turning hero in the Super Over to constantly getting wickets for the team, he is in top-notch form. He got two wickets in the last game too and would lead the pace attack of his team in the matches ahead. Arshdeep Singh has picked six wickets in five matches he has played so far. His bowling efforts may help the team in the next match to get going.

The young spinner of the team, Bishnoi, has tried his best for KXIP. In some matches, he has been exceptional but has struggled to get a wicket in the remaining games. However, his debut season is moving up quite decent and will be keen to be consistent in future too. Murugan Ashwin is expected to join him to strengthen the spin attack of KXIP. He has also shown some decent form when given a chance with the team and got a scalp in the last game too.
