Kolkata Knight Riders earned their first points of the IPL 2020 with a comfortable 7-wicket victory against the Sunrisers Hyderabad. David Warner changed the trend of win the toss and chase but the Sunrisers ended up with the lowest first-innings of the season. Manish Pandey’s 38-ball 51 played a major role in guiding SRH to 142/4 which was never enough against the KKR batting. The Sunrisers got Narine and Karthik for ducks but Shubman Gill’s unbeaten 70 off 62 deliveries saw them seal a comfortable win.
