IPL 2020: Players staying with their families in the UAE

Krunal Pandya

Krunal Pandya has been a part of the Mumbai Indians since 2016, proving to be a reliable middle-order batsman and an economical left-arm spinner. His younger brother, Hardik Pandya, who is also a part of the team since 2015, took to Instagram to share a selfie with his brother Krunal and sister-in-law Pankhuri Sharma, who has very recently reached the UAE.  Both the Pandyas have played an important role in the last few years for the franchise and will look to continue with more vigour and intensity after such a long break from the game.

Dhawal Kulkarni

Dhawal Kulkarni was a long-serving member of the Mumbai Indians’ set up, though he was later released and has played for the Rajasthan Royals for the last couple of seasons. The pacer was roped in by his old franchise again in this year’s auction and he would be keen to perform with more responsibility given that the veteran and legendary Lasith Malinga will not be seen in the tournament this year.

The Mumbai Indians’ pacer was also one amongst the players who travelled with their spouse. In a video posted by the official Twitter handle of the Mumbai Indians franchise, Dhawal Kulkarni can be seen spending some nice time doing yoga, playing FIFA on a gaming console with wife Shraddha Kharpude, and flexing his muscles before he hits the ground.
