IPL. 2020 has successfully stepped into the fourth week of action. Most teams look settled and well-acclimatized.

Last-ball thrillers, one-sided contests, super overs as well as monumental comebacks- the league has seen it all and we&#8217;re done with just three weeks! This edition of the league has been very unpredictable. Teams looking better on paper haven&#8217;t necessarily gone on to win the games.

Many teams, who were supposed to perform well, failed to do so. Many teams, who were estimated to have a bad season, have managed to prove their critics wrong. Teams look to try out different combinations to see which suits them better before the business end of the tournament. A few teams have already shown their potential to adapt to different situations and found success.

8. Kings XI Punjab- 6/10

It is safe to say that Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) have been the worst team of IPL 2020 so far. They have had a rather forgettable three weeks. Nothing seems to be working for them at the moment and they have managed to win just one out of their seven matches.

What&#8217;s shocking is that both the leading run-getters of IPL 2020 so far have been batsman from KXIP. KL Rahul and Mayank Aggarwal have scored a lot of runs but just can&#8217;t seem to get their team over the line. Mohammed Shami has been sensational for them as well. It&#8217;s still hard to answer why KXIP are struggling at the bottom of the table.

Their team management just don&#8217;t seem to trust their team combination and keep on changing their playing XI. Luck hasn&#8217;t favored them too. They lost a few games which they should have comfortably won. Only a miracle can see KXIP make the top four.

7. Chennai Super Kings- 6.5/10

The most consistent team in the history of IPL have had their worst season so far. It is safe to say that only a miracle can see them make the playoffs this time around. They have won just two of their seven matches they&#8217;ve played in IPL 2020.

<a href="https://www.facebook.com/crictracker/photos/3972714686092556" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">MS Dhoni</a> and Co have looked very comprehensive in their two wins. An important point to be noted is their middle-order which has failed in all the matches that they lost. CSK will have to do a lot of thinking if they are to improve their game. Faf Du Plessis has been their best performer so far.

He has hit the third most number of runs in the first three weeks of IPL 2020 and has carried CSK&#8217;s batting. Sam Curran has had a very good season for CSK so far. The southpaw has been impressive with the ball as well as the bat. CSK have to improve significantly in order to get back in track.

6. Rajasthan Royals- 7/10

The Royals have had a topsy-turvy tournament so far. The first week saw them winning matches comfortably and the last two weeks saw them literally surrendering to the opposition teams they played against. They looked really good in their matches in Sharjah, only to struggle in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

RR haven&#8217;t really been at their best and would hope for Ben Stokes to come and change their fortunes. They have managed to win just the two out of their six matches. Their best performer so far has been Jofra Archer. The English pacer has been economical with the ball at the death.

Their key performers have been good in patches. Steve Smith, Jos Buttler and Sanju Samson have looked good in a couple of matches but have failed in the rest. RR would be hoping that their skipper Smith would inspire his troops to make an amazing comeback. Things should get better with the return of Stokes.

5. Sunrisers Hyderabad- 7.5/10

The Orange Army have blown hot and cold in the first three weeks of IPL 2020. Occassionally they look like a force to reckon with and sometimes they look like a team with a lot of flaws. They have won three out of their six matches.

The good news for them, however, is that their opening combination is back to form. David Warner and Jonny Bairstow are now amongst the runs and are now batting really well. However it&#8217;s the inconsistent middle-order that is creating problems for SRH. The bowling department doesn&#8217;t look the best with Bhuvneshwar Kumar injured.

Rashid Khan is in their spin armoury and he has been good as usual. Kumar’s injury during the match against CSK has become a huge concern for SRH though. Manish Pandey and Kane Williamson at three and four have been decent and should provide them stability. T. Natarajan has been very impressive and has managed to grab the headlines for his yorkers.

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have proven their critics wrong and have been consistent so far. Despite showing a few signs of vulnerabilities with the ball, they have won four out of their last six matches. RCB have consistently had their players stepping up in the first three weeks of IPL 2020.

Chris Morris had a sensational debut for RCB against CSK and thus, he could be their solution to their death- bowling issues. Isuru Udana has been good in patches. Their spinners have been very good though. Yuzvendra Chahal and Washington Sundar have done a decent job to restrict opposition batsmen from hitting the big shots.

Their strength however has been their batting. The youngster Devdutt Padikkal has shocked the cricketing world by scoring three 50’s in RCB&#8217;s first four games and the team has marched on with great confidence. Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers have also started to come good for them and this should come as a great boost for them.

The Knights were pre-tournament favourites and seeing them doing well shouldn&#8217;t be a surprise to anyone. Despite not being at their best they have won four out of their six matches. This itself would worry opposition teams.

KKR&#8217;S best player has been Shubman Gill as the young lad has been scoring runs on a consistent basis. He has been their pillar and continues to be their key player. Their youngsters have proven themselves very well as Shivam Mavi and <a href="https://www.crictracker.com/bcci-nca-spent-more-than-inr-1-crore-on-rehabilitation-and-recovery-of-shivam-mavi-and-kamlesh-nagarkoti/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Kamlesh Nagarkoti</a> have been reasonable.

KKR, however, have a few concerns. Kuldeep Yadav has hasn&#8217;t been at his best and even lost his spot from the playing XI recently. Even Sunil Narine, their key player has struggled with the bat. Unlike the previous three editions he hasn&#8217;t been able to get those quick runs.

The defending champions seem unstoppable at the moment. They have managed to win four out of their six matches. Their performances in their last few matches have been dominant to say the least and it won&#8217;t be surprising if they break the even-year curse.

Their biggest strength has been their pacers. Jasprit Bumrah has made a really good comeback since the first match where he went for plenty. James Pattinson and Trent Boult have been superb as well. Losing the league-opener against the Chennai Super Kings created a bit of concern, but they bounced back with a crushing victory against the KKR.

Taking the match against RCB into the Super Over can be seen as a great effort for the MI. Scoring almost 90 runs in the last five overs, MI jumped back into the game that was virtually out of their hand. After comprehensive wins against Sunrisers Hyderabad and Rajasthan Royals, their NRR is also on the higher side.

Delhi Capitals (DC) have been the best team of IPL 2020 so far. They have looked really comfortable and have won five out of six matches. Their strength has been their bowling. Kagiso Rabada and Anrich Nortje have done a fantastic job for them in the initial overs as well as the death overs.

Rabada, in particular, has been sensational; there hasn&#8217;t been even one moment where he has looked clueless. He is the leading wicket-taker of IPL 2020 as well. Their spin department is also sorted as the likes of Ravi Ashwin, Axar Patel and Amit Mishra have done a commendable job. All the three spinners have been really impressive in the limited opportunities given to them so far.

Their batting has looked threatening too, with the likes of  Rishabh Pant and Prithvi Shaw hitting the big shots at will. It is safe to say that Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) have been the worst team of IPL 2020 so far. They have had a rather forgettable three weeks. Nothing seems to be working for them at the moment and they have managed to win just one out of their seven matches.
What&#8217;s shocking is that both the leading run-getters of IPL 2020 so far have been batsman from KXIP. KL Rahul and Mayank Aggarwal have scored a lot of runs but just can&#8217;t seem to get their team over the line. Mohammed Shami has been sensational for them as well. It&#8217;s still hard to answer why KXIP are struggling at the bottom of the table.
Their team management just don&#8217;t seem to trust their team combination and keep on changing their playing XI. Luck hasn&#8217;t favored them too. They lost a few games which they should have comfortably won. Only a miracle can see KXIP make the top four.

<h3>7. Chennai Super Kings- 6.5/10</h3>

The most consistent team in the history of IPL have had their worst season so far. It is safe to say that only a miracle can see them make the playoffs this time around. They have won just two of their seven matches they&#8217;ve played in IPL 2020.
<a href="https://www.facebook.com/crictracker/photos/3972714686092556" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">MS Dhoni</a> and Co have looked very comprehensive in their two wins. An important point to be noted is their middle-order which has failed in all the matches that they lost. CSK will have to do a lot of thinking if they are to improve their game. Faf Du Plessis has been their best performer so far.
He has hit the third most number of runs in the first three weeks of IPL 2020 and has carried CSK&#8217;s batting. Sam Curran has had a very good season for CSK so far. The southpaw has been impressive with the ball as well as the bat. CSK have to improve significantly in order to get back in track.

<h3>6. Rajasthan Royals- 7/10</h3>

The Royals have had a topsy-turvy tournament so far. The first week saw them winning matches comfortably and the last two weeks saw them literally surrendering to the opposition teams they played against. They looked really good in their matches in Sharjah, only to struggle in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
RR haven&#8217;t really been at their best and would hope for Ben Stokes to come and change their fortunes. They have managed to win just the two out of their six matches. Their best performer so far has been Jofra Archer. The English pacer has been economical with the ball at the death.
Their key performers have been good in patches. Steve Smith, Jos Buttler and Sanju Samson have looked good in a couple of matches but have failed in the rest. RR would be hoping that their skipper Smith would inspire his troops to make an amazing comeback. Things should get better with the return of Stokes.
<h3>5. Sunrisers Hyderabad- 7.5/10</h3>

The Orange Army have blown hot and cold in the first three weeks of IPL 2020. Occassionally they look like a force to reckon with and sometimes they look like a team with a lot of flaws. They have won three out of their six matches.
The good news for them, however, is that their opening combination is back to form. David Warner and Jonny Bairstow are now amongst the runs and are now batting really well. However it&#8217;s the inconsistent middle-order that is creating problems for SRH. The bowling department doesn&#8217;t look the best with Bhuvneshwar Kumar injured.
Rashid Khan is in their spin armoury and he has been good as usual. Kumar’s injury during the match against CSK has become a huge concern for SRH though. Manish Pandey and Kane Williamson at three and four have been decent and should provide them stability. T. Natarajan has been very impressive and has managed to grab the headlines for his yorkers.

<h3>4. Royal Challengers Bangalore- 8/10</h3>

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have proven their critics wrong and have been consistent so far. Despite showing a few signs of vulnerabilities with the ball, they have won four out of their last six matches. RCB have consistently had their players stepping up in the first three weeks of IPL 2020.
Chris Morris had a sensational debut for RCB against CSK and thus, he could be their solution to their death- bowling issues. Isuru Udana has been good in patches. Their spinners have been very good though. Yuzvendra Chahal and Washington Sundar have done a decent job to restrict opposition batsmen from hitting the big shots.
Their strength however has been their batting. The youngster Devdutt Padikkal has shocked the cricketing world by scoring three 50’s in RCB&#8217;s first four games and the team has marched on with great confidence. Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers have also started to come good for them and this should come as a great boost for them.

<h3>3. Kolkata Knight Riders- 8.5/10</h3>

The Knights were pre-tournament favourites and seeing them doing well shouldn&#8217;t be a surprise to anyone. Despite not being at their best they have won four out of their six matches. This itself would worry opposition teams.
KKR&#8217;S best player has been Shubman Gill as the young lad has been scoring runs on a consistent basis. He has been their pillar and continues to be their key player. Their youngsters have proven themselves very well as Shivam Mavi and <a href="https://www.crictracker.com/bcci-nca-spent-more-than-inr-1-crore-on-rehabilitation-and-recovery-of-shivam-mavi-and-kamlesh-nagarkoti/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Kamlesh Nagarkoti</a> have been reasonable.
KKR, however, have a few concerns. Kuldeep Yadav has hasn&#8217;t been at his best and even lost his spot from the playing XI recently. Even Sunil Narine, their key player has struggled with the bat. Unlike the previous three editions he hasn&#8217;t been able to get those quick runs.

<h3>2. Mumbai Indians- 9/10</h3>

The defending champions seem unstoppable at the moment. They have managed to win four out of their six matches. Their performances in their last few matches have been dominant to say the least and it won&#8217;t be surprising if they break the even-year curse.
Their biggest strength has been their pacers. Jasprit Bumrah has made a really good comeback since the first match where he went for plenty. James Pattinson and Trent Boult have been superb as well. Losing the league-opener against the Chennai Super Kings created a bit of concern, but they bounced back with a crushing victory against the KKR.
Taking the match against RCB into the Super Over can be seen as a great effort for the MI. Scoring almost 90 runs in the last five overs, MI jumped back into the game that was virtually out of their hand. After comprehensive wins against Sunrisers Hyderabad and Rajasthan Royals, their NRR is also on the higher side.

<h3>1. Delhi Capitals- 9.5/10</h3>

Delhi Capitals (DC) have been the best team of IPL 2020 so far. They have looked really comfortable and have won five out of six matches. Their strength has been their bowling. Kagiso Rabada and Anrich Nortje have done a fantastic job for them in the initial overs as well as the death overs.
Rabada, in particular, has been sensational; there hasn&#8217;t been even one moment where he has looked clueless. He is the leading wicket-taker of IPL 2020 as well. Their spin department is also sorted as the likes of Ravi Ashwin, Axar Patel and Amit Mishra have done a commendable job. All the three spinners have been really impressive in the limited opportunities given to them so far.
Their batting has looked threatening too, with the likes of  Rishabh Pant and Prithvi Shaw hitting the big shots at will. Their MVP, until now, as well as one of the best performers of IPL 2020 so far has been Marcus Stoinis though. He has played the role of a finisher as well as the fifth bolwer to utmost perfection.

Teams are looking to try out different combinations to see which suits them better before the business end of the tournament.
