5. Chennai Super Kings- 8.5/10
All-Rounders: Sam Curran, Dwayne Bravo, Ravindra Jadeja, Mitchell Santner
CSK have a good foreign core in their playing XI. With all-rounders like Sam Curran and Dwayne Bravo, they have the perfect blend of youth and experience. Someone like Shane Watson used to be an all-rounder, but he does not bowl now. Yet he could also add value and mentor the young all-rounders.
Ravindra Jadeja could be CSK’s MVP this season. With the pitches tending to be friendly for the Super Kings, Jadeja could add value in all 3 aspects- batting, bowling and fielding. Sam Curran had a great first game, and he would expect to continue in a similar fashion for the Men in Yellow.
Mitchell Santner could come in as a handy replacement during the latter half of the tournament, when the pitches would be expected to become a little slower.
