8. Daniel Sams (Delhi Capitals)
Aussie pacer Sams came into the Delhi squad as a replacement of English opening batsman Jason Roy. He has not yet made his IPL debut. In the Big Bash League, he has played for Sydney Thunder.
Sams has picked up 52 wickets in 37 T20s at an average of 18.36 and an economy rate of 8.13. He could have been accommodated in the role of a pace-bowling all-rounder lower down the order. But the success of Nortje means that the spot is not up for grabs anymore in the Delhi Capitals Playing XI.
Teams which require a hit-deck pacer and a lower-order batsman who can strike a few blows if needed could go for him while the trading window is open.
