4. AB de Villiers
Entering this list at the 4th spot, bettering his current IPL captain, is ‘Mr. 360’, AB de Villiers, with an average of 39.95. Known for his ability to carve out a shot for any possible delivery a bowler can bowl, AB has been a really valuable asset for his current franchise the Royal Challengers Bangalore, ever since he left Delhi Daredevils and joined them.
Every bowler bowling to him has to make the best use of his cricketing brain, in order to bowl a delivery, which cannot be hit into the stands, using one of the shots listed in the de Villiers’ book of batting.
Having played a total of 154 matches in the Indian Premier League, he is now the veterans of the tournament. In these matches, he has managed to score 33 half-centuries and 3 centuries, which add up in his tally of the 4395 runs that he has to his name.
