Ahead of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 commencing on September 19, players have already landed in the UAE to gear up for the mega event. As per BCCI’s strict protocols owing to COVID-19 pandemic, each and every player has to undergo a mandatory quarantine of 6 days before hitting the ground. Currently, players are in the same phase and trying every bit to make the best use of this time too.

Most of them are training and indulging in workout sessions under the roof, videos of which have been keeping fans entertained. RCB skipper Virat Kohli, who reached UAE a few days back, is burning hard to get into the desired shape and form. Already a fitness freak, the ace batsman isn’t leaving any stone unturned to exert himself to the very best inside closed areas.

In the latest video shared by Royal Challengers Bangalore on Instagram, King Kohli can be seen undergoing some strenuous workout session. The post was captioned as- “Welcome to Captain Kohli’s b̶a̶l̶c̶o̶n̶y̶ gym. Seize the day.”

Here’s Virat Kohli’s video:

The video displays the Indian skipper indulging in some push ups and weight training to tone his muscles to the best. Last week RCB squad traveled to UAE in a separate flight, where people wondered where is the skipper, but later it was revealed that Kohli made his own arrangements to travel from Mumbai due to some safety issues.

IPL has been dry for RCB so far

The whole squad is currently under the mandatory quarantine period, and are not allowed to step out of their hotel rooms. They will be tested thrice during this period before being allowed to move into IPL’s bio-secure bubble.

The Royal Challengers Bangalore will be having their 13th edition of IPL in the coming season, and with this skipper, Kohli also completes his association of 13 years with the franchise. He was selected in the squad in 2008 but has been leading since 2013.

The thing that still worries the class batsman is that IPL has been all dry for them ever since its inception. They are still looking to bring home their maiden IPL trophy. In the coming season, the captain, along with the team, will strive hard to bring the coveted trophy in their bag.
