IPL 2021: 3 Players to avoid in Dream11 Fantasy for RCB vs KKR game

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) seem to have finally found a good bowling attack which has now helped them to win two back-to-back matches at the beginning of the IPL 2021. They will now take on Kolkata Knight Riders who are coming into this match with a win and a loss so far in the tournament. 

Both teams have found players who have stepped up and done well in key moments for their respective teams. This has allowed fans to get some fantasy points. Here is a look at the 3 players whom fans should avoid picking in their fantasy teams for the match between RCB and KKR:

1. Eoin Morgan

Eoin Morgan has been in India for quite some time now. He played in the T20I series in Ahmedabad against India and one ODI of the subsequent series in Pune, but in all those matches, Morgan didn’t get a substantial knock under his belt. Since the 2019 World Cup, his form has been on the decline. In the first two matches of IPL 2021 as well, he got out to spin, playing against which has not been his strength historically. In Chennai, Morgan is once again likely to struggle. 

2. Harbhajan Singh

The veteran off-spinner has been used quite specifically by his captain Eoin Morgan. He opened the bowling against Hyderabad, bowled that over, and didn’t come back. Against Mumbai, he did the same but came back for just one over. On both occasions, the left-handed batsmen in the opposition were removed by the bowler who bowled the second over. Hence, Harbhajan wasn’t asked to come and bowl again for a proper spell. With Morgan using him in a limited fashion, the chances of him getting wickets are significantly low. 

3. Washington Sundar

Washington Sundar has bowled only three overs in the two matches, which have been played at his home ground, Chennai. RCB skipper Virat Kohli has not used him for a proper spell in this edition so far and he is unlikely to get an opportunity to create an impact with the ball if Kohli continues doing that. He has not scored runs with the bat as well, even after getting two chances to bat with several overs left in the innings. With such limited impact in the match, it is better to avoid Washington Sundar in the fantasy teams.
