IPL 2021: 3 players to avoid in fantasy teams for SRH vs MI game

Sunrisers Hyderabad would be coming against Mumbai Indians in the last league match of a season which has been quite poor for them. However, they are coming into this match after achieving their third win of the season. On the other hand, Mumbai Indians have a lot to play for. Their entire chances of qualification depend on this match. However, it is a great chance for fans to earn some fantasy points.

Here are 3 players to avoid in fantasy teams for the SRH vs MI game: 

1. Abhishek Sharma

The Punjab-based all-rounder was not given proper chances to show his skills in the last few seasons. This year, he has played more matches than any season and yet failed to make a lasting impression. There is a bit of flair about him that is nice to watch, but this season it has not been converted into performances. He has made 21*, 18, 6, and 13 in the four matches he has played in the second leg. His promotion to opening the innings didn’t work as well. On top of that, he has not contributed with the ball either. It is better to pick some of the other players. 

2. Wriddhiman Saha

This is about a one on one contest. There are three wicketkeeping options in this contest. One of them is Quinton de Kock, and considering Mumbai’s side in the last few matches, he is likely to sit out of the XI. That brings us to Ishan Kishan, who wasn’t in form until the last few matches, but his 25-ball 50 opening the batting in the previous game was just an example of how talented he is. Apart from that, we have Wriddhiman Saha who isn’t really an impact player and hasn’t had any great performance on his back for some time. He was also demoted down the order, reducing his chances of getting a significant score.  

3. Suryakumar Yadav

2021 has been a bit weird for Suryakumar Yadav. The Mumbai batter scored some stylish and confident runs for India in his short seven-match international career. However, his form in the IPL 2021 has not been good. He constantly struggled to find a way going and just hasn’t scored runs. Despite having some quality opportunities, Yadav has not carried on even after looking good for some time. There are some good options in this contest in the batter’s category and it won’t be a bad idea to go for them.
