4. Mohit Sharma
Mohit Sharma became a household name when he was playing for the Chennai Super Kings. Under MS Dhoni’s captaincy, he became a regular member of the Indian squad. He was so effective during the initial phase of his career that he made it to the World Cup squad in 2015. However, after the mega auction, his form dipped and he was unable to cope up with the competition.
Sharma has been a veteran in the domestic T20 leagues. During his 118-match T20 career, he has taken 113 wickets. Adding on, he has a decent economy rate of 8.38. Well, in his first stint with the Chennai Super Kings, he won the Purple Cap! During the 2016 auction, he was brought by the Punjab Kings for INR 6.5 crores.
His form dipped, and without any success, it was difficult for him to find a franchise. In the 2020 season, he represented the Delhi Capitals for one match. It was a forgetful match for the medium pacer as he took a single wicket for 45 runs! This year, he was unsold. Therefore, Mohit Sharma makes it to this list!
