4. Ishan Kishan
The young left-handed batsman Ishan Kishan was a revelation for defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI) during the 2020 edition. Ishan was the highest run-getter for Mumbai in IPL 2020 with 516 runs at an average of 57.33 and a strike rate of 145.76.
The splendid performance in IPL 2020 also caught the attention of the Team India selectors and Kishan made his debut for Men in Blue. Playing against England in the five-match T20I series, Ishan announced himself in a style by smashing a half-century and earning a Man of the Match award.
However, the 22-year-old couldn’t carry his blistering form in the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League. He succumbed to a disastrous outing with just 73 runs from five matches. Kishan was also dropped from Mumbai Indians playing XI due to poor form. With IPL 2021 now rescheduled in UAE, Ishan Kishan will be hoping to do an IPL 2020 again.
