Delhi Capitals is all set to play their next game of IPL 2021 with a special jersey that will take place against Mumbai Indians. The jersey is in the lighter shade of blue which displays a rainbow in the torso region and will be donned by the DC players to celebrate India’s diversity. The pattern of the torso can be seen in the collars also.
It has to be noted that Delhi wore the same kind of jersey in IPL 2020 against RCB and bagged a clinical victory. The dark red colour which Capitals have always sported on their shoulder is in contrast with their current jersey. It will be a thing to see how Delhi will be able to take up this game to maintain their top-two finish.
New 👕, but same old pre-match rituals 😉

It is known that RCB have always come up with different shades of jersey for the various cause. They don the light green jersey in order to send a message of protecting the environment. This time around, Virat Kohli and his men came up with a light blue jersey to stand in solidarity with COVID-19 frontline workers of India.
Delhi Capitals have already qualified for the playoffs
Talking about RCB, they are sitting at the 3rd position in the points table and look quite clean to get the playoffs berth. On the other hand, Delhi would be eyeing to maintain the top two finish so that they have two chances of making it to the finals. After the PBKS vs KKR match, Delhi has officially qualified for the playoffs and becomes the second team after CSK to make it to the playoffs of IPL 2021.
“I think we were 10 runs short, not much. We knew that the wicket would slow down in the second innings. But the end of the day each and every team is trying to win the match and we just want to give our 100% on the given day. If it goes our way it’s fine, if it doesn’t we will learn from our mistakes and move on,” said Rishabh Pant after the loss against KKR in their last game.
