MS Dhoni is a cricketer who has a massive fan following across the cricketing world. The legendary Chennai Super Kings (CSK) skipper is hailed by the masses for his ability to finish matches with a cool head, and also for his prowess as a captain on the field.
And, after the first Qualifier between the Delhi Capitals (DC) and the Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Dhoni gave two of his young fans a gift. After the match, Dhoni signed the match ball and threw it up to a young boy and a girl in the stands.
Both the boy and the girl were clad in yellow, and both these young fans were overjoyed upon receiving this gift from the CSK skipper.

MS Dhoni applies the finishing touches in CSK’s win over DC
MS Dhoni played a superb cameo, scoring 18* off just 6 deliveries to help the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) side beat the Delhi Capitals by 4 wickets in the first Qualifier on 10th October 2021 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
Batting first, the Delhi Capitals (DC) scored 172/5 in their allotted 20 overs. And, Prithvi Shaw (60 off 34 deliveries), and Rishabh Pant (51* off 35 deliveries) scored blistering half-centuries to help their side post a good total on the board.
In reply, it was the scintillating 110-run stand between Ruturaj Gaikwad and Robin Uthappa that helped the CSK side beat their opposition. While Gaikwad scored a 50-ball 70, Uthappa scored a fluent 63 off 44 deliveries to help the ‘Men in Yellow’ overhaul the target set by the opposition.
MS Dhoni is one of the legends of IPL cricket. The 40-year-old cricketing colossus has featured in 219 IPL matches and has scored 4746 runs at an average of 39.55, and a strike rate of 135.83. The right-hander has also plundered 23 half-centuries in the IPL. Dhoni has also led the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) side to three IPL titles as well.
