Pat Cummins decided not to participate in the second half of the 2021 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The Australian pacer was staying in the Maldives along with his other Aussie teammates after the first half of the IPL was suspended in May, and could leave for Australia only after 14 days.
And later, when the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced that the second leg of the IPL will be played in the UAE, Cummins announced that he will not participate in the tournament, and did not disclose any particular reason as well.
But now, the all-rounder has come up with a hilarious reason. Cummins posted a picture of his hairstyle on Instagram and stated that this was the ‘real reason’ why he did not appear for the second leg of the IPL.

Pat Cummins has played 37 matches in the IPL. While he has scored 316 runs with the willow, he has also scalped 38 wickets with the ball in hand as well. The KKR side splashed out a colossal sum of INR 15.5 Crores during the IPL auctions to procure the services of the Aussie right-arm pacer.
The Kolkata Knight Riders are currently placed at the 4th spot in the IPL points table and have won 5 out of the 11 matches that they have contested in. The Eoin Morgan-led outfit will next be seen in action on the field against the Punjab Kings (PBKS) side on 1st October 2021. This clash will be held at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
