3. Mumbai Indians (MI)

The Mumbai Indians annihilated their opponents in the 2020 edition of the IPL that was held in the UAE and won the IPL title for the 5th time last year. They ended the league stage on top of the points table in 2020.

In the 2021 IPL season, the Mumbai side blew hot and cold. At the time of suspension of the tournament, the Rohit Sharma-led outfit was placed at the 4th position in the points table. However, they can take inspiration from their marvelous performance in the previous IPL edition when the second half of the IPL commences in the UAE.

The Mumbai side is one that is filled with match-winners, as the likes of Quinton De Kock, Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya, Jasprit Bumrah, and Suryakumar Yadav are capable of destroying the opponents.

They are one of the few sides who won’t be missing any of their key players unless injuries affect their campaign. The ‘Men in Blue’ will most likely finish the league stage of IPL 2021 at 3rd place in the points table.
