Riyan Parag and his antics have always attracted the attention of the fans. May it be his Bihu dance which he unfurled last year after winning a game for the Rajasthan Royals (RR) last season or his selfie celebration with Rahul Tewatia, fans have taken a liking to it. He seems to be the man who always keeps the mood of the dressing room light.
This time around he has perfectly mimicked former India cricketer Virender Sehwag’s expressions while batting. Riyan Parag was playing a guessing game with his teammate Shreyas Gopal. Riyan had to act without speaking and Gopal was guessing a player’s name.
As soon as Sehwag’s name came, Riyan Parag hilariously tried to tell his teammate about the cricketer with his expressions. When Gopal couldn’t answer in the couple of tries, Parag then kept the expression same and mimicked the way Sehwag used to smasha four and this when the leg-spinner managed to guess the name correctly.
Rajasthan Royals posted the video of the same on their official social media handle to leave the fans in splits while also tagging Virender Sehwag.

Riyan Parag in IPL 2021
Meanwhile, Riyan Parag hasn’t been at his best in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) season. He has featured in all six matches so far for the Royals mustering only 63 runs at an average of 15.75. With the ball, he has picked only one wicket and will be keen on improving his performance in the coming days.
Rajasthan Royals will be facing the Sunrisers Hyderabad on Sunday in the first game of the double-header day. They have so far played six matches and have won only two matches. The team has suffered with four of their best overseas players getting ruled out of the tournament for several reasons. They have lost Ben Stokes, Jofra Archer, Liam Livingstone and Andrew Tye since the season has started.
However, Rassie van der Dussen has joined the team and is currently in quarantine. Having said that, they would want the likes of Riyan Parag to perform consistently to solve their middle-order issues.
