With already been hailed as one of the all-time best sides of the T20 cricket, there’s hardly any flaw being visible inside the MI camp. Most of its frontline players are in top-notch form and the team will yet again be hot favourites to fetch their sixth IPL glory. However, to pick the team’s strongest capped player, one surely has to flaunt its name based on some remarkable statistics. Hence, while analyzing carefully, someone like Jasprit Bumrah does still stand out then.

By carrying the reputation of being the best in the business of T20 bowling, Bumrah had an astonishing IPL 2020. The speedster in his 15 IPL games took a total of 27 wickets that too at an economy of 6.73. No doubt he is skipper Rohit Sharma’s most trusted chief and that’s the reason why he will continue to be a breakthrough player for MI, especially if they have to defend their title.

However, in terms of picking their weakest capped player, the MI management might get concerned with Saurabh Tiwary’s recent reasonable form in the domestic season. The left-handed batsman was seen missing from the VHT matches for Jharkhand and in the SMAT games, a total of only 92 runs came from his four innings. Even though he will be joining the MI team as a reserve middle-order batsman but with IPL being a strenuous affair, who knows there’s an opening waiting for him.  Hence, having him apt and even fit will be something that MI management will be striving for.
