4. Royal Challengers Bangalore
Ahead of 2021 IPL, Royal Challengers Bangalore has a squad that is capable of winning the title. The addition of players like Glenn Maxwell has given them the hope of having the X-factor which can help them win the title. Maxwell’s record in the IPL isn’t impressive but given his form for the Australian team, this could be his season.
Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers are the two players who make the franchise a solid one. The duo has been around for RCB since 2008 and 2011 respectively and the franchise depends on their batting too heavily. The two have also delivered several wins, but this year they would be hoping to bring home the title.
The next two most important players going into this season will be Yuzvendra Chahal, who has been with the franchise since 2014, and Devdutt Paddikal, who arrived just a couple of years ago. Chahal is their main bowler, who has been consistent even when others have failed to deliver. Padikkal was given the responsibility to open last season, and the youngster impressed everyone with the bat, scoring more than 400 runs.
