5. Vishnu Solanki
Vishnu Solanki is the third player on this list from the Baroda team which ended being the runners-up of the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 tournament. During the tournament, he attracted a lot of attention towards himself after he smashed 6, 4 and 6 off the last three balls in the quarterfinals to win the match for his side.
During that knock, he kept his cool until the very last over and just happened to play an MS Dhoni-type innings to seal a semi-final spot for his side. He can be a good option for a finisher for any team. He ended the tournament as the fifth-highest run-getter. In the eight innings which he played, he scored 267 runs at an average of 53.40. His strike rate was also impressive at 128.37.
He hasn’t been picked in any of the IPL auctions so far, but it seems that 2021 could just be the year for the 28-year-old. He has been one of the top performers for the Baroda team and might get some bidders on the auction day. His heroics in the quarter-final match has become his claim to fame and could also help him to land into an IPL side.
