IPL 2022: 12 Players who got bids from most teams in the mega auction
The mega auction saw various players' names start a bidding war between many sides at the same time.
6. Avesh Khan – 5 teams (CSK, LSG, MI, DC, SRH)
Avesh Khan has been one of the most impressive Indian pacers to play in the competition for the last few years. With his ability to bowl in the late 130s and his ability to trouble batters with a consistent hard length and a mean yorker, Khan was expected to make waves coming into this auction.
The pacer from Madhya Pradesh impressed everyone as he had previously played for Delhi Capitals (DC) and was the second-highest wicket-taker in IPL 2021 season.
The LSG bid of INR 10 crore has crowned Avesh Khan as the most expensive uncapped Indian player in the history of the IPL auction. Lucknow defeated Mumbai Indians, Chennai Super Kings, and Sunrisers Hyderabad to win the bidding war for the youngster at the mega auction.
