3. Jason Holder
Jason Holder, the West Indies all-rounder can bowl at any stage of the game and change the game’s course with his long handles. Being 6’7″ tall is probably one of the main reasons why teams in the T20 format want to include Holder in their line-ups. Holder shone in IPL 2021, putting in a stellar performance in almost every game for Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH).
He plays exceptionally well at the crucial hour and helps the team with his full potential. However, Chennai Super Kings failed to include him in the squad at the IPL mega auction. The franchise did bid for Holder to a certain point but in the end, Lucknow Super Giants bagged the deal for INR 8.75 crore.
After going unsold in IPL 2020 season, he was signed by the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the same year to replace the injured Mitchell Marsh. Holder made his IPL debut in 2013 for Chennai Super Kings (CSK). He was purchased by Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in 2014 and Kolkata Knight Riders in 2016 because of his stunning performances. However, Holder was back with Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 2020 and 2021 seasons. He holds a magnificent record of picking 43 wickets in 31 matches played with an average of 22.30 in the Indian Premier League (IPL) since his debut.
