The left-arm fast bowler, Jaydev Undakat, is an experienced name in the Indian Premier League. Over the years, he has represented multiple teams like Delhi Daredevils, Rising Pune Supergiant, Rajasthan Royals, and was bought by Mumbai Indians for the 2022 edition of the tournament. He has quite often hogged the limelight due to his expensive contracts in the IPL, particularly in IPL 2018, where he emerged as the costliest Indian pick.

Unadkat has been average in the tournament in the last two editions, where he has been quite expensive and unable to put brakes on the opposition. But, he has a terrific overall record in the Indian Premier League, where he has scalped a total of 85 wickets in 60 appearances. In the 2017 edition, Unadkat picked up 24 wickets in 12 matches and helped the Rising Pune Supergiant to reach the finals.

An experienced fast bowler, Unadkat can also provide lusty blows in the final overs and can be a like-for-like replacement for the Australian cricketer, Daniel Sams. In 158 T20s, Unadkat has picked up 195 wickets and contributed 418 runs.
