IPL 2022: 3 players who can replace Suryakumar Yadav in Mumbai Indians’ playing XI against Delhi Capitals
Yadav is recovering from a thumb injury at NCA in Bengaluru and will miss Mumbai's opening game.
2. Anmolpreet Singh
The 23-year-old all-rounder from Punjab made his IPL debut against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the year 2019 when he was representing Mumbai Indians. The uncapped player has represented India A, India Blue, India C, and other domestic teams.
He has not made his mark in the IPL yet, and as a result, the trust factor would play a major role. But given a chance, he can be tried in the lower middle order to see how he takes the game forward.
In the absence of Yadav, Anmolpreet can be picked up in the team as a batter down the order, and a useful spinner. He was promising in his debut Ranji season, and can surely be trusted.
