IPL 2022: 5 Players who can replace Deepak Chahar in CSK if he is ruled out of entire season
Deepak Chahar got injured during the third T20I against the West Indies.
4. Sandeep Warrier
Right-arm fast bowler Sandeep Warrier made his T20I debut for India in 2021 against Sri Lanka on the back of his ability to bowl quick. He might have fallen a bit off the radar as far as the national team is concerned, but is still one of the most sought-after fast bowlers in the domestic circuit.
He was Kerala’s leading wicket-taker at the 2018-19 Vijay Hazare Trophy and also picked up a terrific hat-trick at the 2019 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy thus showcasing his talent.
The 30-year-old is someone who gets good bounce off the surface and could be a perfect foil in the CSK’s bowling set-up given the fact that the tournament is being held in Maharashtra where the pitches offer something for the faster bowlers. He has previously been a part of the squad at Kolkata Knight Riders thus getting a taste of what to expect at the IPL.
