IPL 2022: 5 players who can win Emerging Player Award
Playing at such a level teaches the uncapped wayward how to take up responsibilities.
4. Mohsin Khan
Mohsin Khan was brought into action a little late in the tournament. But since his inclusion in the team, LSG has found another performing pacer. Mohsin has bowled incredibly in the slog overs for Lucknow this season. Mohsin hails from Uttar Pradesh and made his List A debut for his state in the 2017-18 Vijay Hazare trophy.
The 23-year-old left-arm pacer has an impressive bowling technique. As LSG finished third on the points table, the Eliminator might be the one match deciding his and the team’s fate in the tournament. Meanwhile, Mohsin caught the attention of spectators with his early wickets.
In only eight matches he played this season, he has picked up 13 wickets. He has been way more economical than other pacers as well with an average economy of 5.93. With best figures of 4/16, Mohsin had a dream debut season. This makes him a frontrunner to bag this prestigious honour this season.
