5. Rashid Khan

One of the greatest bowlers of the IPL is the man from Afghanistan – Rashid Khan. But one can’t deny his ability to give his best in every capacity whether it is bowling, batting, or fielding. Rashid Khan had shown some glimpses of his effective batting in the previous editions of IPL but this time he has truly transformed himself into a T20 all-rounder. It is quite evident that he has worked a lot on his not-so-strong aspect i.e. batting and that has been on display with a full flourish this IPL.

Rashid was picked up by the Gujarat Titans for a whopping price of INR 15 cr. The knocks that he delivered in vital stages of league games proved to be a massive advantage for the new franchise – Gujarat Titans. He played a huge part in placing Gujarat Titans at the top of the points table. He is not a mere handy batter anymore, he is Gujarat Titans’ most valuable asset. His match-winning knocks of 40 of 21 balls, 31 of 11 balls, and 19 of 6 balls have truly made him their finisher in charge.

Rashid Khan has scored with a decent average of 22.75 and at an outstanding strike rate of 206.81. Rashid may not be a conventional batter but his game awareness and never-give-up attitude have raised his batting some notches higher and that eventually helped his team to be at the top of the points table during the league stage. He has played a huge role in helping Gujarat Titans enter the finals of their debut IPL season.
