5. Saurabh Tiwary
Saurabh Tiwary was one of the finds of the IPL in the inaugural edition in 2008 and the left-hander can be flexible in the batting order as well. The left-hander has played 93 IPL games and was with the Mumbai Indians franchise in the previous edition playing some important knocks.
Tiwary has the ability to change gears once he gets set in the crease and uses his long levers to clear the ropes comfortably. He can be a headache to the opponent captain at times, as he uses the slog sweep really well and has a lot to offer to any franchise he gets picked up. He did quite well whenever he was given an opportunity in the Mumbai Indians last season.
Tiwary having come through the U19 ranks was expected to be picked up by some franchise in the IPL 2022 mega auction which did not happen and he might now be roped in as a replacement. The 32-year-old can hit some lusty blows in the middle order and recently captained the Jharkand side in the Ranji Trophy. With two half-centuries against Tamil Nadu, Tiwary managed to get his side over the line and progress into the next round.
