So, we are done with the 2022 IPL mega auction. Ishan Kishan is the player who hogged the limelight in this year’s mega auction, as the Mumbai Indians spent a colossal amount of INR 15.25 Crore to procure his services. Deepak Chahar also got richer by INR 14 Crore. Also, Shreyas Iyer was pouched for a colossal sum of INR 12.25 Crore, while Liam Livingstone raked in INR 11.5 Crore

The Chennai Super Kings bought back most of their players to maintain their core. There were also some big names like Suresh Raina, and Steve Smith who did not receive any bids from any franchise as well.

So, we are all ready for IPL 2022. The 15^th edition of the T20 extravaganza will be a 10-team affair, bigger and grander and every team will be gunning for the coveted trophy.
