3. Devdutt Padikkal (RR)
Devdutt’s form this season has not helped the youngster well. With an average of 24.58 this season, Devdutt is still struggling to find his way back with the bat. But the last three matches have been better for him as he is entering the double digits easily now.
Earlier against Punjab, in a chase of 190, he scored 31 runs off 32 deliveries. It was a slow knock as compared to the target but he balanced it out in the middle. He gave an assist with three boundaries and defended his wicket well.
In the match against Delhi, Padikkal scored 48 runs off 30 deliveries including two sixes. He fell two runs short of his second half-century as he fell prey to Anrich Nortje. Padikkal is performing better coming at one down for RR.
