<a href="https://www.crictracker.com/t20/ipl-indian-premier-league/">Indian Premier League 2022</a> has successfully completed six weeks of scintillating cricket. With batters sending the ball out of the park and bowlers hitting the toes of the batters, the audience is set to experience some exciting on-field action as the playoff stage approaches.

Only 19 league-stage games are left in the tournament and the top four are yet to be decided. Still, eight teams are in the race to get a berth in the playoffs. Out of those eight teams, three are leveled with 10 points each. At the end, it might again come to the net run rate as a decider for the top four spots.

The 15th edition of IPL is done with six weeks of exceptional cricketing display. This week, many batters neared to score a ton but were unable to. Let&#8217;s see who made it to the best XI of the sixth week of IPL 2022:

1. Ruturaj Gaikwad (CSK)

After a string of low scores, Ruturaj finally got in tune against <a href="https://www.crictracker.com/t20/ipl-indian-premier-league/srh-sunrisers-hyderabad/">Sunrisers Hyderabad</a> on Saturday in Pune. As MCA Stadium, Pune works like a charm for the youngster, he did not disappoint his side this time as well. CSK won this game by 13 runs to keep their hopes alive in the tournament.

Ruturaj’s incredible knock of 99 runs came off just 57 deliveries. He anchored the innings well and took the team&#8217;s total up to 202. However, nervous nineties got the better of the youngster and he missed a well-deserved century.

Ruturaj fell for T Natarajan’s full-length delivery and found Bhuvneshwar catching at point. Gaikwad managed to add only 28 runs in the match against RCB. As Chennai Super Kings got virtually knocked out of the playoff race by losing to RCB by 13 runs, Ruturaj Gaikwad’s efforts are all in vain now.

Devon Conway has worked out to be an amazing addition to the <a href="https://www.crictracker.com/t20/ipl-indian-premier-league/csk-chennai-super-kings/">CSK</a> squad lately. His consecutive 50+ scores in the two games this week had a major impact in the team’s total. Conway started this week with an incredible partnership of 170 runs with his opening partner Ruturaj.

He scored an unbeaten 85 0ff 55 deliveries, helping the team with some big hits towards the end as well. Conway’s form continued against RCB where he scored 56 off 37 deliveries and got out to Wanindu Hasaranga. While chasing, CSK were unable to score 174 runs that RCB handed over as the target.

Till Conway was at the crease, CSK had their hopes alive of getting another straight victory and stay alive in the race for the playoffs. While CSK won&#8217;t qualify for the playoffs now, fans will be anticipating more from Conway in the upcoming matches.

3. Shikhar Dhawan (PBKS)

He builds his innings on the ground of consistency and patience. His season with Punjab is also going well for the batter. He has been scoring big continuously, trying to help the batting lineup of Punjab Kings.

Dhawan added 62 runs in the chase of 143 for PBKS against Gujarat Titans. His unbeaten innings came off 53 deliveries and at a strike rate of 116.9. Dhawan played like a true senior to the team and protected the wicket when in need.

His innings included eight steady fours and an incredible six. Dhawan stood firm on the one side while Liam brought the game home for Punjab. Shikhar’s presence has lifted the side up and has increased the team’s chances of getting into the playoffs.

Powell has found his hard-hitting abilities back and it is working well for Delhi Capitals. He scored consecutive double-digit scores for his side and aided the middle-order woes for DC this week. <a href="https://www.crictracker.com/ipl-2022-rovman-powell-hopes-breaking-liam-livingstones-record-of-117m-six/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Powell </a>is performing well as a finisher for DC this season.

His score of unbeaten 67 came off just 35 deliveries and a strike of over 191. This really speaks volumes of the power the Caribbean holds. Against a bowling lineup as that of SRH, Powell hit the ball out of the park six times. He and David Warner ensured a great total of 207 for DC by hitting consecutive boundaries in the last over.

Powell had hit 35 runs in the match against LSG. This innings included three fours and two sixes. His big hitting at the end came in pretty handy for DC as it gave a push to the target and didn&#8217;t let the net run rate go down much.

5. Rishabh Pant (WK &amp; C) (DC)

Pant has always been known to be an explosive middle-order batter for the team. Since he has become the captain of DC, his performance this season has been on and off throughout. Under his captaincy, DC sits at the fifth spot on the points table.

Pooran has scored incredibly this week for SRH. Pooran and his hard-hitting abilities are contributing well for SRH’s totals. He scored an unbeaten 64 runs by taking mere 33 deliveries against CSK while chasing. He batted at a strike rate of 194 while hitting six sixes in his innings including 3 boundaries.

Although SRH lost that match by 13 runs, this wicketkeeper fought till the end. In the match against DC which SRH lost by 21 runs, <a href="https://www.crictracker.com/nicholas-pooran-named-west-indies-white-ball-captain-following-kieron-pollards-international-retirement/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Pooran </a>was out fighting for Hyderabad. He again scored 62 runs taking up just 34 deliveries.

7. Liam Livingstone (PBKS)

Punjab thrashed the table-toppers Gujarat Titans by eight wickets this week to stay alive in the race to playoffs. One of the major reasons for this victory was <a href="https://www.crictracker.com/ipl-2022-rovman-powell-hopes-breaking-liam-livingstones-record-of-117m-six/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Liam Livingstone’s</a> blistering innings. He scored 30 runs by taking only 10 deliveries while chasing. He also hit the longest six of the season, measuring 117 metre in this match.

Punjab had restricted Gujarat for 143 at the DY Patil Stadium and Liam also scalped the important wicket of David Miller. The Kings easily chased down the target in 16 overs. Liam came to the field with a plan. He finished the match in one over itself when 22 runs were needed.

Liam took charge of Mohammed Shami and hit three consecutive sixes. He finished the chase with two more boundaries and batted at a strike rate of 300. Liam is having a dream season so far with Punjab Kings.

8. Bhuvneshwar Kumar (SRH)

His precision in restricting the batters has always been lauded by the experts of the game. This season has not been the best one for him so far in terms of wickets he bagged.

However, Bhuvi has once again bowled economically in the powerplay overs which tends to put pressure on batters. In the match against CSK this week, he went wicketless but still maintained an economy of 5.5, bowling eight dots in his spell of four overs. He only gave 22 runs on a pitch where the batting side posted 202.

Another game was against Delhi Capitals this week where the pacer bagged one wicket out of the three that had fallen. Kumar trapped DC opener, Mandeep Singh, with his very tight bowling. Bhuvi gave only 25 runs in his spell of four overs, bowling 14 dot balls where the batting side totaled 207.

Shardul has been effective in taking regular wickets this season for the Delhi Capitals. His economy has been on the higher side but he has compensated with the number of wickets he has bagged throughout. This week as well, his contribution with the ball has a lot to do for DC.

In the match against SRH, he bagged the wickets of Shashank Singh. He also got the in-form Nicholas Pooran out at 62, sealing the game in the favor of <a href="https://www.crictracker.com/t20/ipl-indian-premier-league/dc-delhi-capitals/">DC</a>. In this spell, he gave 44 runs at an economy of 11 in his four overs.

At Wankhede, against LSG, Shardul bagged all the three wickets that had fallen off for LSG. In his four overs, he gave 40 runs but roped in the big fishes. His victims were the top three batters for LSG &#8211; Quinton de Kock, KL Rahul and Deepak Hooda.

The 25-year-old left-arm pacer from Maharashtra has emerged as a great bowling asset for CSK this season. His inclusion in the team came late in the tournament but has worked out for CSK. Mukesh’s performance especially against <a href="https://www.crictracker.com/t20/ipl-indian-premier-league/srh-sunrisers-hyderabad/">SRH</a> was one of his personal best.

He took four wickets including the dangerman, Abhishek Sharma’s wicket in his spell of four overs. Mukesh gave 46 runs at an economy of 11.5 in that match and was considerably expensive. But he chipped in with wickets at regular intervals and brought the game home.

Mukesh went wicketless in the match against RCB. He could not even complete his four overs. In his spell of three overs in that match, he gave 30 runs at an economy of 10.

The 25-year-old left-arm pacer from Maharashtra has emerged as a great bowling asset for CSK this season. His inclusion in the team came late in the tournament but has worked out for CSK. Mukesh’s performance especially against <a href="https://www.crictracker.com/t20/ipl-indian-premier-league/srh-sunrisers-hyderabad/">SRH</a> was one of his personal best.
He took four wickets including the dangerman, Abhishek Sharma’s wicket in his spell of four overs. Mukesh gave 46 runs at an economy of 11.5 in that match and was considerably expensive. But he chipped in with wickets at regular intervals and brought the game home.

Mohsin Khan was one of the most economical bowlers this week for Lucknow Super Giants. He bowled an amazing spell of 4/16 against the explosive DC batting line-up. Mohsin got four wickets to his name and gave away just 16 runs in his four overs including 15 crucial dot balls.
The major batters of DC- <a href="https://www.crictracker.com/david-warner-partied-more-than-believing-in-practice-we-sent-him-back-virender-sehwag-makes-massive-revelation/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">David Warner</a>, Pant and Powell fell to Mohsin’s wizardry in Wankhede. In the only game for LSG this week, Mohsin’s heroics was surely a reason for its win. He helped LSG to restrict the exploits of DC batters to 189 as the KL Rahul-led side narrowly crossed the line.
LSG won this match by six runs. With every game, LSG is producing a new sensation in the cricketing world. Every game, a new youngster is stepping up, making LSG a major contender for a berth in the playoffs.

<a href="https://www.crictracker.com/t20/ipl-indian-premier-league/">Indian Premier League 2022</a> has successfully completed six weeks of scintillating cricket. With batters sending the ball out of the park and bowlers hitting the toes of the batters, the audience is set to experience some exciting on-field action as the playoff stage approaches.
Only 19 league-stage games are left in the tournament and the top four are yet to be decided. Still, eight teams are in the race to get a berth in the playoffs. Out of those eight teams, three are leveled with 10 points each. At the end, it might again come to the net run rate as a decider for the top four spots.
The 15th edition of IPL is done with six weeks of exceptional cricketing display. This week, many batters neared to score a ton but were unable to. Let&#8217;s see who made it to the best XI of the sixth week of IPL 2022:

After a string of low scores, Ruturaj finally got in tune against <a href="https://www.crictracker.com/t20/ipl-indian-premier-league/srh-sunrisers-hyderabad/">Sunrisers Hyderabad</a> on Saturday in Pune. As MCA Stadium, Pune works like a charm for the youngster, he did not disappoint his side this time as well. CSK won this game by 13 runs to keep their hopes alive in the tournament.
Ruturaj’s incredible knock of 99 runs came off just 57 deliveries. He anchored the innings well and took the team&#8217;s total up to 202. However, nervous nineties got the better of the youngster and he missed a well-deserved century.
Ruturaj fell for T Natarajan’s full-length delivery and found Bhuvneshwar catching at point. Gaikwad managed to add only 28 runs in the match against RCB. As Chennai Super Kings got virtually knocked out of the playoff race by losing to RCB by 13 runs, Ruturaj Gaikwad’s efforts are all in vain now.

<h3>2. Devon Conway (CSK)</h3>

Devon Conway has worked out to be an amazing addition to the <a href="https://www.crictracker.com/t20/ipl-indian-premier-league/csk-chennai-super-kings/">CSK</a> squad lately. His consecutive 50+ scores in the two games this week had a major impact in the team’s total. Conway started this week with an incredible partnership of 170 runs with his opening partner Ruturaj.
He scored an unbeaten 85 0ff 55 deliveries, helping the team with some big hits towards the end as well. Conway’s form continued against RCB where he scored 56 off 37 deliveries and got out to Wanindu Hasaranga. While chasing, CSK were unable to score 174 runs that RCB handed over as the target.
Till Conway was at the crease, CSK had their hopes alive of getting another straight victory and stay alive in the race for the playoffs. While CSK won&#8217;t qualify for the playoffs now, fans will be anticipating more from Conway in the upcoming matches.

<h3>3. Shikhar Dhawan (PBKS)</h3>

He builds his innings on the ground of consistency and patience. His season with Punjab is also going well for the batter. He has been scoring big continuously, trying to help the batting lineup of Punjab Kings.
Dhawan added 62 runs in the chase of 143 for PBKS against Gujarat Titans. His unbeaten innings came off 53 deliveries and at a strike rate of 116.9. Dhawan played like a true senior to the team and protected the wicket when in need.
His innings included eight steady fours and an incredible six. Dhawan stood firm on the one side while Liam brought the game home for Punjab. Shikhar’s presence has lifted the side up and has increased the team’s chances of getting into the playoffs.

<h3>4. Rovman Powell (DC)</h3>

Powell has found his hard-hitting abilities back and it is working well for Delhi Capitals. He scored consecutive double-digit scores for his side and aided the middle-order woes for DC this week. <a href="https://www.crictracker.com/ipl-2022-rovman-powell-hopes-breaking-liam-livingstones-record-of-117m-six/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Powell </a>is performing well as a finisher for DC this season.
His score of unbeaten 67 came off just 35 deliveries and a strike of over 191. This really speaks volumes of the power the Caribbean holds. Against a bowling lineup as that of SRH, Powell hit the ball out of the park six times. He and David Warner ensured a great total of 207 for DC by hitting consecutive boundaries in the last over.
Powell had hit 35 runs in the match against LSG. This innings included three fours and two sixes. His big hitting at the end came in pretty handy for DC as it gave a push to the target and didn&#8217;t let the net run rate go down much.

<h3>5. Rishabh Pant (WK &amp; C) (DC)</h3>

Pant has always been known to be an explosive middle-order batter for the team. Since he has become the captain of DC, his performance this season has been on and off throughout. Under his captaincy, DC sits at the fifth spot on the points table.

He scored quick 44 runs which included seven fours and a six. He got bowled out to Mohsin Khan. His innings anchored the chase of 189 for DC.
Although this innings went in vain as DC lost by six runs to LSG, Pant getting back to form is a good news for DC as the tournament is closing to the playoffs. Pant smashed 26 runs taking only 16 deliveries including three sixes against SRH which added quick runs to the total of 207.

<h3> 6. Nicholas Pooran (SRH)</h3>

Pooran has scored incredibly this week for SRH. Pooran and his hard-hitting abilities are contributing well for SRH’s totals. He scored an unbeaten 64 runs by taking mere 33 deliveries against CSK while chasing. He batted at a strike rate of 194 while hitting six sixes in his innings including 3 boundaries.
Although SRH lost that match by 13 runs, this wicketkeeper fought till the end. In the match against DC which SRH lost by 21 runs, <a href="https://www.crictracker.com/nicholas-pooran-named-west-indies-white-ball-captain-following-kieron-pollards-international-retirement/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Pooran </a>was out fighting for Hyderabad. He again scored 62 runs taking up just 34 deliveries.
He got out to Shardul Thakur and was unable to finish the match for his side. His innings included six massive sixes and two boundaries. Pooran’s skills as a wicketkeeper have also finessed throughout this tournament.
