IPL 2022: Best XI from the sixth week
Only 19 league-stage games are left in the tournament and the top four are yet to be decided.
4. Rovman Powell (DC)
Powell has found his hard-hitting abilities back and it is working well for Delhi Capitals. He scored consecutive double-digit scores for his side and aided the middle-order woes for DC this week. Powell is performing well as a finisher for DC this season.
His score of unbeaten 67 came off just 35 deliveries and a strike of over 191. This really speaks volumes of the power the Caribbean holds. Against a bowling lineup as that of SRH, Powell hit the ball out of the park six times. He and David Warner ensured a great total of 207 for DC by hitting consecutive boundaries in the last over.
Powell had hit 35 runs in the match against LSG. This innings included three fours and two sixes. His big hitting at the end came in pretty handy for DC as it gave a push to the target and didn’t let the net run rate go down much.
