Liam Livingstone broke the shackles with some humongous hits and it turned out to be a breakthrough season for the Englishman in the IPL this year. He was acquired for big bucks by the Punjab Kings in the IPL 2022 mega auction and he delivered beyond expectations. Livingstone batted at the number four position for the Punjab Kings and he took the bowlers to cleaners, with some clinical six-hitting. In fact, he hit the longest six of the season with a 117-meter maximum and announced his arrival in IPL with a bang, considering his previous seasons were not as productive. Livingstone finished with 437 runs in 14 games at an average of 36.42 and a strike rate of 182.08. The right-hander hit four half-centuries this season with the highest score of 70 and picked up wickets with the ball consistently as well. Currently, he should be ranked among the most destructive batters around the world going with his form and skills.
