4. Romario Shepherd
Sunrisers Hyderabad splashed a huge sum of money on the West Indian all-rounder, Romario Shepherd. As such, he was expected to play a crucial part in Hyderabad’s campaign this season. However, that was not the case as Shepherd managed to play just two games in IPL 2022.
Romario Shepherd played a part in only the first two games of the season, where Sunrisers Hyderabad ended up on the losing side. The franchise made a host of changes, as they went on a five-match winning streak. One of the players who was dropped from the side was the West Indian all-rounder, who never got another opportunity.
Marco Jensen was drafted into the side, as the South African left-arm pacer took the spot which was thought to be reserved for Romario Shepherd. The all-rounder should certainly have played a much bigger role in Hyderabad’s campaign this season, given that he picked three wickets, and performed well with the bat in those two games.
