IPL 2022: Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) Schedule, Full Time Table, Timings, Dates, Venues details and PDF Download

The 15th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is almost here and with two more teams included in the 2022 edition, the marquee tournament promises to be an even more exciting one. The 10 participating teams have been divided into two groups of five and like the 2011 edition, each will be playing the other four teams in its respective group twice, four teams of the other group once and the remaining team once. In all, one team will play 14 matches in the tournament and the top four teams in the points table make the playoffs. The tournament progresses in the same way from thereon.

All the matches will be played in four venues in Maharashtra – three in Mumbai and one in Pune. Overall, 74 matches will be played in the tournament held between March 26 and May 29. Chennai Super Kings (CSK) are the defending champions while Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Gujarat Titans (GT) are the new franchises joining the tournament this year.

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), who made a terrific comeback in the second leg of the 2021 edition held in the United Arab Emirates, will play the first match of the 2022 edition against the CSK in a repeat of the 2021 final.

The Knight Riders will be playing under a new captain in Shreyas Iyer and aim to win their third title after the last-hurdle disappointment last year.
