Indian batting stalwart Virat Kohli can rightfully stake claim to being the greatest batter of modern-day cricket. Kohli has remained a force to reckon with as the run machine has scored more than 22,000 runs in his international career since he made his debut in August 2008.
Kohli also stands third in the list of batters with the most centuries in international cricket, with 70 tons to his name. The 33-year old batter made his debut in the 2008 edition of the Indian Premier League for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and since then has been an integral part of the franchise. 1. Andrew McDonald (2012)
Current Australian coach Andrew McDonald was once part RCB franchise way back in 2012. The all-rounder was transferred from Delhi Daredevils to RCB during the IPL trading window in 2012. The 40-year old represented the franchise in a total of four matches and scored a total of 47 runs with a strike rate above 150.
In bowling, the right-arm medium pacer took five wickets in total ten overs he bowled in that season. In 2013, the all-rounder represented RCB in only one match before he was dropped. Later on, McDonald also served as a bowling coach for the franchise in 2016 along with Bharat Arun and was given the sole responsibility to guide RCB bowlers in 2017 after Arun left the camp.
Talking about his international career, McDonald only represented Australia in four Test matches in which he scored 107 runs at an average of 21.4 with the highest score of 68. In bowling, the right-arm bowler took nine wickets at an economy of 2.46.
