2. Nic Maddinson (2014)

Australian destructive batter Nic Maddinson represented RCB in 2014. The left-handed batter played two matches for the franchise while opening the proceedings in both innings. However, Maddinson failed miserably to show his true colors while playing for the red army.

In two matches, the 30-year old scored just 16 runs that too at a meek strike rate of 95.24. As he failed to perform, the franchise dropped him from the playing XI. Later in the tournament, the left-handed batter suffered an injury and was forced to fly out making way for South African batter Rilee Rossouw to replace him.

Maddinson, who has been a big name in the domestic circuit. However, the 30-year old could not perform well at the national level as well. The batter has played six T20Is for Australia, but only managed to score 45 runs at an average of 11.25. However, he has a decent strike rate of 128.57.
