Lucknow Super Giants and Mumbai Indians will be facing each other in the 37th match of IPL 2022, to take place at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. So far in this season, LSG have won four and lost three matches, while MI have lost all of their seven games. While LSG have lost both their matches at Wankhede Stadium in this season, MI will be playing their first match at this ground.

MI openers Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan have been massively out of for, however, Suryakumar Yadav in the middle has been exceptional, scoring above 30 in all the matches he has played. Youngsters Dewald Brevis and Tilak Verma have also impressed with the bat. The bowling line up has no standout performer this season, and needs a lot of improvement.

For LSG, captain KL Rahul and wicketkeeper Quinton de Kock have been consistent this season, though, they have failed to perform in the last match. No. 3 has been a problem for the team, though Krunal Pandya, Deepak Hooda, Ayush Badoni and Marcus Stoinis have been scoring the runs lower down the order. Avesh Khan and Jason Holder have been their top performers with the ball.
