A furious battle for this 23-year-old youngster who hails from Jharkhand was worth the wait for Mumbai when they finally bagged him for 15 crores and 25 lakhs. Ishan is now the second most expensive Indian player in the history of IPL, just below Yuvraj Singh who was sold for 16 crores, that too very late in his cricketing career.

Kishan is a left-handed batsman, well known for his batting exploits. His previous two IPL editions with Mumbai were as fantastic as his recent form for India. Kishan is emerging as a top-class T20 batter who can precisely add runs up the order. His strike rate as an opener has earned him the respect, he has been enjoying this season.

Kishan has scored 225 runs in the nine matches that he has played so far. He averages 28.13 with an average strike rate of 111.39. His highest score this season is 81 not out. Both the players are continuously setting their place straight in the playing XI for RCB. Nicholas Pooran is not having a season as high as the expectations of the Sunrisers Hyderabad team management. The Caribbean is well known for his hard-hitting approach and scoring runs at a brisk rate. Although, fans of SRH are still waiting for the fireworks to start from his end.

Mumbai Indians were ready with their bidding paddle to go all-in, as soon as the auctioneer announced Ishan Kishan in the mega auction. A furious battle for this 23-year-old youngster who hails from Jharkhand was worth the wait for Mumbai when they finally bagged him for 15 crores and 25 lakhs. Ishan is now the second most expensive Indian player in the history of IPL, just below Yuvraj Singh who was sold for 16 crores, that too very late in his cricketing career. 
Kishan is a left-handed batsman, well known for his batting exploits. His previous two IPL editions with Mumbai were as fantastic as his recent form for India. Kishan is emerging as a top-class T20 batter who can precisely add runs up the order. His strike rate as an opener has earned him the respect, he has been enjoying this season.
Kishan has scored 225 runs in the nine matches that he has played so far. He averages 28.13 with an average strike rate of 111.39. His highest score this season is 81 not out. In the first couple of games this season, he looked at his best, but as the tournament progressed he seemed to fade away going down with a string of low scores. Mumbai Indians are having the worst season in the history of the franchise and are already out of the tournament.

First four matches, KKR sailed like a supreme, topped the table, and was looking like full-fledged contenders for the trophy.
In the next few games, KKR went through a winless streak that ended against RR. As a captain, Iyer is facing some issues keeping up with the winning combination in batting as well as bowling. But as a batsman, his form in the T20 internationals continued in the IPL season as well.

The Brit has performed extremely well in the BBL and Abu Dhabi T10 league in the past few months. After a devastating IPL season of 2021, Liam upped the ante by hitting it hard in other international leagues. He is considered reliable when it comes to adding quick runs up the order for Punjab. Liam has an average strike rate of 186.62 this season. His knocks this season are either of strike rates nearing 200 or none at all.
In the ten matches he has played so far, he has scored a total of 293 runs. He averages low but still is working well for Punjab. With the ball in hand, he has picked up three wickets.
