Delhi Capitals invested INR 10 crores and 75 lakhs in the ability of Shardul Thakur to take wickets at regular intervals. His last stint in the Chennai Super Kings Bootcamp under the advisory of MS Dhoni had earned him the status of being a dependable player throughout the innings.
