3. Shreyas Iyer (Delhi Capitals)
The DC had a change of fortunes in the year 2019 as their new captain Shreyas Iyer led his team to two consecutive playoffs (Qualifier 2 in 2019 and to the finals in 2020). He was, however, released this year, with the franchise going in with Rishabh Pant as their skipper. Shreyas was eventually bought by the Knight Riders and has been made their new captain.
The Delhi Capitals will take Shreyas into their squad given his recent performances for team India in the limited-overs format. He scored three consecutive half-centuries in a T20I series against Sri Lanka, which is enough to prove how good of a batsman he is.
His experience would greatly benefit Delhi Capitals who are struggling with a relatively inexperienced middle order. He is also continuing his good run of form by playing some crucial knocks in almost every game which is proving to be handy for KKR.
