After polishing Shubman Gill over the years, KKR too promises to bring the best out of youngsters. Ramesh Kumar, an allrounder from Punjab who is yet to play any representative cricket was bought because of his abilities to spin the ball both ways but couldn’t get a game this season. Pratham Singh a left-handed batsman also didn’t make it to the playing XI this season.

Mohammad Nabi, famous for his pioneer work for Afghanistan cricket was surprisingly left out of the game this season. Chamika Karunaratne, a right-handed allrounder from Srilanka debuted for his national side in 2019 but was benched for this season of IPL.

Medium-pacer Ashok Sharma from Rajasthan has been a net bowler in the past for Rajasthan Royals and has impressed everyone with his ability to swing the ball. He couldn’t get a game this season but has the potential and he might play from the next season onwards.
