The runners-up of IPL 2022, Rajasthan Royals entered the finals after 14 long years, mainly due to the combined team effort they had put in. Many youngsters were unable to get a game this season. Sanju Samson was proud of his side at the end.

Dhruv Jurelwas, the wicketkeeper-batsman who was named as the vice-captain of India’s U19 World Cup side that took part in the 2020 edition couldn’t find a game this season. Anunay Singh was another youngster who never got to play even after his impressive bowling for Bihar in Syed Mushtaq Ali trophy. Shubham Garhwal, a lefty bowler was bought at the end of the mega auctions and is yet to display his cricket to the world.

KC Cariappa has played regularly till 2017 and again got to play in 2019. The spinner didn’t get to play a single game for Rajasthan this season. Kuldip Yadav is another bowler in the RR camp whose swing and slightly slingy action can trouble the batters but was not put to use this year. Tejas Baroka and Corbin Bosch were other players who didn’t get to play this year.
