Defending champions, Chennai Super Kings have had a horrific start to their IPL 2022 campaign.

Lucknow Super Giants has done an exceptional job in assembling a robust squad. The new franchise has found the perfect opening pair in the form of KL Rahul and Quinton De Kock. They have a bunch of all-rounders in their squad, with the likes of Deepak Hooda and Krunal Pandya. Moreover, overseas stars like Jason Holder and Marcus Stoinis are also in the ranks.
From their opening two games, LSG have won and lost one game each so far. Talented middle-order batter, Ayush Badoni has been one of the finds of the season in the first week, as he strikes the ball fearlessly and ferociously. Their fast bowling attack has plenty of depth with the likes of Andrew Tye, Avesh Khan, and Dushmantha Chameera and Jason Holder in the ranks. In Ravi Bishnoi, LSG has a quality spinner who is unafraid of taking his chances against the batters.
