3. RR- Devdutt Padikkal

Interestingly, even the RR team now upholds many youngsters in their squad. Starting from Yashasvi Jaiswal, the lad was even retained by the pink army. But alongside him, there are also other cricketers like Riyan Parag, Devdutt Padikkal and Shimron Hetmyer. However, amidst all, Devdutt Padikkal seems to be the biggest future star of Rajasthan.

So far his track record in the IPL surely vouches a lot for him. In his past two seasons for RCB, Padikkal twice had scored more than 400 runs. The 21-year old also seems to be a lot more versatile in his batting then compared to Y Jaiswal. In the top three, Padikkal can definitely emerge as a vital cog of the team. Also, if the batter opens the innings then his classical stroke-making is exemplary for powerplay overs.

Overall in his general assessment, Padikkal still looks like a work-in-progress T20 player. But for RCB, the youngster has shown a lot of composure and even finished games. All in all, surely like Sanju Samson if Padikkal receives enough fostering then he’ll be the next bigwig of RR.
